Introducing a pneumococcal vaccine clinical trial for healthy volunteers 18 thru 49 years of age
By participating in this clinical trial, you can help us learn if a study vaccine is safe and provides protection against more strains of pnuemococcal bacteria than our currently available vaccine (Prevnar 20®).
This clinical trial is enrolling adults who:
- Are 18 through 49 years of age
- Are generally healthy or have stable chronic conditions
- Have not received pneumococcal vaccine after the age of 5 years old
- Do not have a history of a severe reaction associated with any vaccine
There will be other requirements that can be discussed with the study team.
- Participation lasts for about 6 months and requires 2 in-person visits and 1 phone call.
